Banana Protein Cold Brew Shake


I appologize, I have been so behind on posting this month! We have been busy babysitting (best part of being an aunt!), preparing for our yard sale we hosted last weekend, along with work and preparing for testing, etc, all while still enjoying summer! This weekend the temps will be headed back up, we've had a nice little lull there for a bit. So this recipe is coming in just in time! I shared with you all my homemade cold brew recipe, this piggy backs off of it! You can also use store bought as well or even brew strong coffee and cool it overnight to add, I've done all three! It uses banana for sweetness & offers an awesome flavor! This protein smoothie has been my go to post workout/run shake lately. It's cold, sweet, refreshing, and it offers some great nutrition! What's not to love??! 

Ingredients:

1 medium frozen banana
2 tbsp PB2 or any powdered (dehydrated) PB or sub real PB
1 scoop your choice of chocolate whey
handful of ice cubes
1 cup cold brew/cold coffee

How to:

Place all ingredients in blender/food processor and blend until mixed to a smooth and creamy consistency!
Top with any crunchy goods, here I've added some Nature's Made Love Chocolate & Berry cereal.
Sip & enjoy!!
