Acai Bowl


Summer is finally- officially here and so are the warmer temps. I don't know about you, but I personally crave fruits, smoothies, and yogurt bowls more than anything as it gets hotter and hotter especially post-run. I found these frozen Sambazon Acai Packets and they are so easy to use. I added a broken one into my Ninja some liquid of choice, milled flax, fresh fruit and boom- it was done. Acai isn't a "super food" - that's a marketing gimmick, instead think of how ALL foods are super. Acai is delicious and a nice way to add some awesome carbohydrates post-workout. Getting creative adding things to the bowl is also one of my favorite things to do with smoothies or these bowls. I love all the toppings and it's so fun trying every element you add in a cold spoonful. I hope you all enjoy your Monday!


Ingredients:

1 frozen Sambazon Acai Packet
1/4-1/2 cup milk (can be any liquid- use 1/2 cup if you want more of a smoothie)
1/2 cup frozen mini blueberries
1 Tbsp Manitoba Milling Golden Milled Flax

How to:

Blend for 20-30 seconds, scoop out and enjoy!
Be sure to top with all the goods, I added blueberry Greek yogurt, fresh mango, chia seeds, hemp hearts, and shredded coconut. But I also love adding pumpkin seeds, frozen berries, nuts, granola, and some nut butter.
