Easter Puppy Chow
Easter is right around the corner and I wanted to bring a little something different to the party this year. I love me some puppy chow- chocolate, sweetness, and peanut butter- how could you not?! I thought I would try to create something more light and sweet when I saw some baking white chocolate at the store which I used while making this amazingly delicious recipe! And of course it's super fun because you can use any sprinkle color or shape to make it work for whatever event you are preparing for. I picked a few varieties of sprinkles out and got to work! This turned out great and can be used for birthday parties, Christmas, or even a baby shower! I love how sweet and simple the recipe was. Let me know what you think or if you have questions, I love to hear about what people decided to go with when improvising in the kitchen!
Ingredients:
4.5 cups rice Chex cereal
8 oz white chocolate melts
2/3 cup sprinkles of choice
1.5 cups powdered sugar
Place Chex cereal in a large bowl and set aside. Place white chocolate melts in a small sauce pan on low-med heat. Once chocolate starts melting, stir continuously until fully melted. Be careful to not burn, it will turn brown and will not taste good.
