Pickled Red Onions

Who loves these irresistibly tangy and crisp accoutrements to any dish??? Not only are they delicious, but look at that hue! Perfect for a pop of color and a way to step up the flavor profile to any meal! Pickled onions are great on salads, burgers, in veggie wraps for added punch, tacos, and more. The best part of this recipe... it only takes about an hour of sitting to create this wonderful recipe! I always make a batch every two weeks or so during grilling season because they are great on burgers and in my burger grain bowls that I like to make. I hope you enjoy this yummy recipe, let me know what your thoughts are below!

Ingredients:

1 large red onion (or two small)
1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
1 cup water
1 tsp sugar

How to:

Start by slicing red onion into slices or preferred sizing, you can leave them whole if you would like, just ensure you have enough room in your jar to fit!
Place all ingredients into jar, cover, do a quick flip or shake to ensure mixture is mixed, and let sit out at room temp for 1 hour.
Then into the fridge to cool and enjoy!
