Have you ever heard some of the following things at the holidays? "Are you sure you should be eating that?" "I can eat this because I ran/worked out this morning- I earned it." "I wore my fat pants today- good thing." "I'm going to gain so much weight after this meal." "Why are you eating so much?" "Let's stuff ourselves and buckle it down for the new year." Etc..... The holidays are a time where our friends and loved ones come together to celebrate, but for most this can be a triggering time that is filled with disordered comments about weight, eating, and exercise along with increasing one's feelings of self conscious.
